Fire Safety Trainers
At Positive Fire Safety Training we are always looking for high-quality trainers and consultants to work with us in the delivery of the highest level of education and support for our clients with regard to fire safety management. We would like to hear from you if you are from a Fire Service background and have the following experience and skill set.
- A preferred minimum of 6 years’ frontline service.
- A recognised training qualification or appropriate “in-service” teaching experience
- The ability to confidently deliver the theory and practical sections of our courses as listed on our website, using our branded teaching material and our teaching methods.
- Your own training aids of laptop, projector, and speakers
- Access to water and CO² fire extinguishers
- Experience within a Fire Prevention Department or a recognised qualification in Fire Risk Assessment.
- Access to a gas simulator unit that can be used for ‘live fire’ demonstration training**
** gas rigs are sometimes requested by clients; however, these are not a requirement of application.

Mick previously served as a full time firefighter and has been carrying out training and risk assessing full time since 2009, in addition to enhance his teaching skills attained his Professional Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich in July 2012 and believes that you are never to old to learn.
